New data spends its first 92 days in Amazon's Instant Retrieval, about $4.10 per TB a month, then moves to Deep Archive. Long term, storage is about $1.08 to $1.55 per TB a month, never a flat price. Your real bill is in your own Amazon account.

What storage costs, roughly.

Long-term storage is about $1 per TB a month. Files backed up in the last 3 months cost about $4 per TB a month while they wait.

Tojuri's Storage settings, in the app's own words: what Amazon charges long-term, what files backed up in the last 3 months cost while they wait, and what getting everything back costs.

Year one averages the first 92 days at about $4.10 per TB a month with the months after. The range after that allows for new data each month. Folder lists and the index stay in faster storage. History, requests, restored copies and downloads add cost too.

Before you recover everything.

Getting a few files back usually costs pennies. Getting everything back after a disaster usually costs about $99–$134 per terabyte in Amazon fees, mostly the download itself, and files backed up more than 90 days ago take 12 to 48 hours to prepare. Files backed up in the last 90 days start coming back straight away. Tojuri always shows the estimate before you confirm. You only ever pay it if you need it.

We would rather tell you now than on the worst day.
